ACCORDING to the observations at (12:30)hrs MST today, due to the South China Sea waves, development of cumulonimbus clouds and the convergence of warm air from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and cold air from the China hight pressure system, cyclonic circulation which may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kayin, Mon States and fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls and strong wind from today noon up to 8 November 2024.

People should be aware of the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, lightning strikes, lightnings, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
