BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (18:30) hours MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm “TRAMI” over the South China Sea is likely to continue to move northwestwards. It is likely to reach near middle Vietnam coast on 27 October 2024.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27 October 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Kayin and Mon states, scattered in Kachin and Southern Shan states and isolated in the remaining regions and states. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kayin and Mon states. The area along the cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin and Mon states.
