Myanmar Permanent Representative to ASEAN U Aung Myo Myint attended the Maritime Heritage at the ASEAN Heritage Parks exhibition, held from 22 to 25 October in Indonesia, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The exhibition took place at the ASEAN Secretariat in Indonesia.
The event showcased ASEAN’s maritime heritage, focusing on the rich biodiversity conserved and promoted through the ASEAN Heritage Parks. It highlighted two parks from the Philippines, namely the Tubbataha Reef and the Agusan Marsh, along with other maritime or aquatic-related parks from the ASEAN Member States.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the ASEAN Secretary General and was attended by Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, as well as diplomatic missions based in Jakarta.
