STIMULANT tablets valued at over K224.2 million were seized in Mahaaungmyay Township and Chanayethazan Township in Mandalay, as reported by the Myanmar Police Force.
The combined team with anti-narcotic squad searched the motorbike driven by Kaung Htet San accompanied by Ye Yint at Satkyanwesin Ward, at the corner of 38th street, between 74th x 75th streets in Mahaaungmyay Township at 8 pm on 2 October and seized 0.028 kilogramme of Happy Water.
According to the investigation, the team conducted inspections and seized 0.035 kilogramme of Happy Water from Sai Naw Kham (aka) Naw Kham at the corner of 66th x 41st streets in Mahamyaing Ward 1 in Mahaaungmyay Township at 8 pm of that day. On 3 October, the team searched the room of Ye Yint at the corner of 62nd street x 43rd street in Yemontaung Ward of in Mahaaungmyay Township at 8 pm and seized 0.028 kilogramme of Happy Water; seized 50 Ecstasy tablets and 0.045 kilogramme of Ketamine from Thet Paing Zaw on 66th street and corner of 30th x 31st streets in east Pyigyipyawbwe ward of Chanayethazan Township. On 5 October, the team also confiscated 5.2 kilogrammes of Ketamine drugs from the house of Thet Paing Zaw located on 66th street between 30th x 31st streets in east Pyigyi Pyawbwe ward in Chanayethazan Township, and six Ecstasy tablets from the house of Ye Yint Win located on 66th street between 30th x 31st streets in in Pyigyi Pyawbwe east ward, Chanayethazan Township at 2:30 am.
The team also searched the motorbike driven by Khin Maung Tun at Ba Htoo Ward in Yaksawk at 11 am and confiscated 98,000 stimulant tablets. Action was taken as per the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
