Myanmar writers and artistes engaged in discussions with Chinese literary figures from Guangzhou, Nanning, Beijing, Xi’an, Yichang, and Kunming during a Myanmar-China friendship trip.
The Myanmar delegation, made up of 11 writers and 15 artistes, participated in the 12-day trip from 5 to 16 September.
During the visit, Myanmar writers and artistes held friendly meetings with Chinese litterateurs and artistes from various cities, including Guangzhou, Nanning, Beijing, Xi’an, Yichang, and Kunming. They had extensive discussions on topics related to literature and the arts.
Notable members of the Myanmar delegation included U Ohn Maung (Myinmu-Maung Naing Moe), chairman of the Myanmar Writers Association, musician U Maung Maung Zaw Htet (Diramore), and Daw Khin Wuttyi, chairperson of the Bago Township Writers’ Association.
